You know...

You know something I've just realized?  When you're a really little kid you like things like Dora the Explorer and Sesame Street and then you hate those things, but then when you're, like, high school, you'll walk down the hallways harmonizing the theme to Dora the Explorer.

It was so much fun!  I spent such a long time in the Artist Alley, the art there was awesome~

There were so many people though!  My mom and I could barely move.  And mom saw one of the people on Law and Order SVU!  lol

I spent so much money there...and then I found $50!  Seriously, I did. XD
I bought 4 prints, 6 pins, 2 tags and a cell phone charm~  And 9 out of 12 of the things I bought had to do with Fullmetal Alchemist...lol  The other three were Baccano!, Vocaloid and Hell Girl~

The whole thing was seriously epic!

Some of the cosplays people wore were so funny!  There were guys dressed as girls though...that was weird. >__>

The only bad thing was that I didn't have an actual cosplay.  I just went as...myself. -__-  With the powers of stalking, loling and idiocy; I shall rule the world! lol

I really should be doing my social studies homework...  But I'm not.  I'm writing this.
The only way for me to get it done in a normal amount of time is if someone were holding a gun to my head.  But no one is.  So it's not getting done.  meh.

In other news: NEXT SATURDAY I'M GOING TO THE NEW YORK ANIME FESTIVAL!!!!!!!! XD
And now I've got to get a costume.  (it'll prolly just be a white fedora.  But I could always be Rachel from Baccano... hmmmm)
And I've also got to finish my Al hat.  I'm lazy...

Next week (partially to piss everyone off and partially for myself), I'm going to only wear black, white and grey the whole week.  lol

This effing sucks...

School, yes SCHOOL.  Freshman year of high school to be exact.
And I'm so.  Freaking.  Stressed.
It's only the second full week of school and I've already had three quizzes and a test.  And I've got more tests this week. XP

I've also learned about this amazing opportunity we have to go to Paris and Rome on a field trip.  I really want to go.  The thing is, my parents are still thinking about it and they might not let me go.  It's really expensive...
And I also want  to go to the New York Anime Con...but that's on the 8th-10th and I'm afraid to ask them, 'cause it might make them say "no" to Paris.  If I could go to NYAC, I'd prolly get to see Furorensu-Chan!  One of my best friends on Tinier Me.  She's awesome and the same age as me...

Well, anyway...I'm stressed right now and I gotta go.

Wheeeee!!!  My birthday is in two days!!!  XD  And my party is going to be two days after that. ;3
I've gotten to open one of my gifts early and I got art supplies from my Babka.  Watercolor pencils, charcoal pencils, art books and fancy paper.  X3  Uber-happy now! 

Sophie gets back from camp on the 25th!  YAY!  I get to see my best friend again after a month!  XD
But I forget to write her letters soooooo, PLEASEDONTKILLMESOPHIEPLEASEDONTKILLMESOPHIEPLEASEDONTKILLMESOPHIEPLEASEDONTKILLMESOPHIE!!!!!!!  /shot/

And in other, less likely to murder me news:  I'm reading The Silence of the Lambs.  Damn good book.  Creepy, somewhat violent, but really good.  Dr. Lecter's a creepy bastard.

Well, I'm back!

Well, actually I've been back for about a week...But I'm lazy, so this is what ya get!
Michigan was really fun!  Swimming was *way* funnier than expected.  One of the days we went into town and there was this whole Coast Guard Festival going on, so there was a carnival and everything.  LOL, I promised my mom and Joan that I would never marry a carny.  I also promised that I would never fall in love with a serial killer while working for the FBI...but that's a whole other story...Thank goodness I don't want to work in Behavioral Science!  ((If you get that then you're a insane as me...))
We went antiquing and I searched through EVERY SINGLE STORE for a pocket watch that (1) wasn't broken and (2) that I could afford.  I failed.  Dismally.  I *did* however, find: Hamlet, a German poetry book, a book to teach myself German with, silk gloves, skeleton keys and perfume bottles.  YAY!  Useless items that I love!  X3

I also went to NYC this weekend!!!!!!   YESH, first time in the city!  We stayed in a really nice hotel (with a discount thanks to some friends of ours...)(^-^) and went to some museums.  We walked through Central Park and Times Square.  And basically had such an awesome time!  Wish we could have stayed longer, we barely got to do anything!

Yup yup.  This evening I'm gonna be leaving for Michigan to stay with some friends on ours ON THE LAKE.  You know the one.  That giant one.  Lake MICHIGAN.  Now that's all fun and good; staying with friends, having fun...except for the fact that I'm TERRIFIED OF LAKES.  No, I'm not afraid of drowning (I'm a great swimmer), it's that when you're in a lake you have no idea what's below you.  That's what scares me!  (cue Panic!Aphrodite...)
And in other news...Insane!Aphrodite killed Rational!Aphrodite and the only Aphrodite with any sense is Philosophical!Aphrodite...Damn, my mind is pretty much screwed....
